The readings are short articles about specific artists all written by Beth Wilson.  You will choose ONE of the posted articles. My suggestion is to google the five artists (one article per artist) and choose images to see what some of their work looks like, and choose an article about an artist whose work you found visually interesting. Youll use your chosen Wilson reading to help you identify ways critics write about implicit, explicit and obscured meanings when writing about an artists work specifically the artist that you will be reading about in the article you choose. Youll then apply what youre learning to writing about.

Remember: only choose ONE short article by Beth Wilson. Youre welcome to read them all, but only focus on one for this RR.

  What to post on your blog entry RR3Sept13_Chosen Artist’s Name:
  • Read the article youve chosen.
  • On your blog, make a post titled RR3Sept13_(Chosen Artist’s Name)
