Maintaining client confidentiality and privacy are important topics with respect to public statements and the use of client information. Many ethics standards address these topics in Section 5 of the Ethics Code.

For this assignment, you will pretend that it is your job to write a 2-3 page training document for new employees of an applied behavior analysis organization that provides services to clients with autism. The training document must include a summary of all the relevant and important ethical standards with regard to what employees should and should not do in the handling of client information in public statements.

Be sure to cover at least the following topics by referencing and explaining the relevant ethical codes concerning:

1. Solicitation of current and past client testimonials for advertising and for non-advertising purposes,

2. A discussion of “do’s” and “don’ts” with regards to social media (e.g., what you can post; whether you can “friend” a client/stakeholder, etc.)

3. Standards on when you need to get Informed Consent and from whom
