Hello, good morning, everyone. My name is Brandy Miles. I am from a small community in Dillon, South Carolina, very, very country. It's about this small. Everybody knows everybody. A fun fight about myself is that I love crafting. So anywhere that sells craft things is my I live for that. I save for Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Joanne, any place that sells anything so I can craft. I love making wreaths. I love decorating. I love making door porch signs, do it yourself. Activities. Being an advocate. For me, being an advocate means being someone's voice, finding the resources that they need, speaking up for people that's able to speak up for themselves, due to lack of education, due to lack of communication, not knowing what's available out there. Let me be your voice. A policy that has in piped my life would be the disability e. When I was about 4-years-old, my mom was involved in a head on collision. A drunk driver hit her, and for about five months, she was paralyzed and was in a coma. And after she pulled through went to therapy, she was able to gain mobility of her her limbs, but she walks with a limp, her arm is still messed up. She she was quite messed up from the wreck. And it really impacted my life because without that disability, my mom wouldn't have been able to provide for us. She wouldn't have been able to get the insurance that she needed so that she could stay in the facility for X amount of time. Even up until now, she's currently bed ridden, and she has dementia. And I am her caregiver. And without the disability I, she wouldn't have access to a lot of things where only wheelchairs can go. She wouldn't have any kind of insurance because she's unable to work. So those things impacted my life. And basically, that's what been an advocate means to me. I'm looking forward to learning in this class. That's about it in a nutshell. Thank you.
