Following anecdotal comments from teachers and administrators that the children had improved their memory and attention in class, which had resulted in better academic achievements overall, the local government for our study has taken a keen interest in this program. The participants in the study for the reverse auditory digitspan exercise were 30 people who attended the school breakfast club and 30 people who did not. Our study sought to determine whether this was the case and was granted permission to measure working memory in groups of students from two separate schools using the Backwards Auditory Digitspan, a straightforward test.
