Once you read the article regarding the importance of medical coding, you are to discuss why coding is important in your anticipated health care career with a 200-400 word response. You need to identify the career that you plan to enter upon graduation. If you are not in the health field just choose one that interests you. You need to cite the information given in APA format and provide a full APA reference at least 1 (preferably 2) scholarly article other than the one posted in the module at the end of the post. Put your post (initial & response) directly into the discussion board, not as an attachment so everyone can see your information. Then save your initial post and responses as a Word document and add as an attachment in the comment section. This is so comments/corrections can be made in the document for the faculty to grade and return. 

You will need to properly reference your information for the articles as a citation and provide an APA reference at the end of the post. The initial post is due February 11th by 1159 PM. See the syllabus regarding late penalties.
You will be required to respond to one other student’s post with a substantive response of 150-200 words (i.e. more than “I agree”.). Address to whom you are responding. As this is a terminology course, spelling will be considered in the grading. You will need to properly cite the information from the articles in APA format and provide a full APA reference at the end of the post. Response is due February 18th by 1159 PM.
