Select at least one of the types of needs (physiological, psychological, or implicit) concerning human motivation in a work setting.
Prepare a 10- to 15-minute oral presentation, accompanied by 10 to 15 Microsoft® PowerPoint® slides, in which you analyze physiological, psychological, or implicit needs as they relate to human behavior.
o Online Campus students do not deliver an oral presentation; however, they must submit speaker notes with their presentations.
Address the following in your presentation:
o Identify the organizational setting.
o Define the selected needs.
o Identify and explain the factors that affect workplace behavior.
o Assess the importance of acquired needs.
o Apply one to two theories―such as drive reduction theory, cognitive evaluation theory, or Atkinson’s model―to how physiological, psychological, or implicit needs affect behavior.
o Explain how the organization is affected by unmet human needs, as well as what can be done to improve employees’ experiences.
Cite at least 2 references from scholarly, peer-reviewed sources.
Format any citations in your presentation according to APA guidelines.
