This assignment provides you with the opportunity to further analyze the organization that you selected back in Module 3: Week 3, from a leadership perspective. This assignment will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of how this organization supports subordinates through effective leadership.

Instructions

In this assignment, discuss similarities in delegation within the organization compared to Kouzes and Posner’s thoughts on “Enable Others to Act.” Apply the leadership philosophies of “Fostering Cooperation” and “Strengthening Others” to the management styles that exist within the organization that you selected. Identify and explain how the organization effectively creates a collaborative criminal justice work environment through effective leadership. Apply “Enabling Others to Act, Fostering Cooperation, and Strengthening Others” through a Christian Worldview lens to explain how it could improve the leadership within the organization. This organization may be any criminal justice organization. To gain insight into this organization, internet research on the organization’s leadership approach or interviews with higher-level management may be used to collect data for this assignment.
