Application of Educational Theory and Research

• Apply broad knowledge of educational theory and research to positively impact educational settings.
• Apply an understanding of diversity and equity in education to foster inclusive school environments and apply ethical behavior, standards, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with educational stakeholders to promote a vision and mission that supports the success of students, school employees, and educational stakeholders.

In this assignment, you will identify a specific Problem of Practice found in today’s education settings. The settings could include K-12, alternative/adult education, or Higher Education settings. You will need to

• Identify 3-4 scholarly sources that support that this is a current and relevant problem in education. 
• Introduce the problem and support with evidence from scholarly sources. 

You will also identify key stakeholders in the educational setting that are impacted by addressing the problem of practice (students, teachers, administrators, family, community members, etc.) 

• Describe their roles, interests, and influence on the educational setting. 
• Explain how addressing this problem of practice impacts their roles. 
• Evaluate how addressing this problem of practice would impact the overall vision and mission of the organization
