than adults. The pandemic affected them in other aspects such as psychological, social, and academic.

COVID-19:

• Medium Term: it will benefit 24%

of children in the U.S., especially

children in rural areas.

• Long Term: it will benefit all the

children of the world who make up

27% of the population.

After the intervention of Telemedicine,

obesity in American children will

decrease by 19% and will have the

following benefits:

• follow-up appointments

• A primary care physician to monitor

their weight and health.

• Receive nutritional advice

• Strengthens their immune system

• Reduce the risk of contracting viruses

• Additional support from SNAP.

• Preventive action information to avoid

exposure to Covid-19 from the CDC.

• Technology resources such as Zoom

and telemedicine apps.

Every child within New York State must

receive nutritional and psychological

counseling every three months through

telemedicine accompanied by an adult.
