When conducting research studies, I frequently use correlation analysis because it allows revealing the way dependent and independent variables influence each other. This approach is valuable for assessing the effectiveness of diverse interventions. Descriptive analysis appeals to me as well because it interprets the obtained data sets and allows understanding general tendencies (Ress, 2016). Narrative analysis is valuable for discussing the experience of different people, which is also valuable for nursing. Due to it, professionals can find out how people react to particular complications and diseases, as well as, their specific needs. Hence, it becomes possible to offer efficient interventions to benefit them. In addition to that, I try using infernal statistics but have to admit that it is rather complicated to manage and additional education is needed for me to make sure that my calculations are correct. For instance, I tried to identify the statistical significance of the intervention to prove that it is worth recommending for practice.

In my research studies I am conducting Qualitative analysis that is rather valuable for research because it provides an opportunity to be rather flexible. For instance, I can change questions during the interview or ask additional ones to clarify the obtained information and make sure that the response will benefit me. In addition to that, there is an opportunity to focus on abstract variables that cannot be explained by numbers. Changing attitudes can be captured since professionals can accept different responses but not only those presupposed initially. However, the qualitative analysis focuses on a limited number of people and variables. It is rather subjective, and even the researcher’s interpretation can affect findings, which makes it complicated to apply findings to larger populations. On the contrary, inferential analysis allows describing relationships between variables so that causes and effects can be revealed (Tappen, 2015). In view of this, detailed information can be used to make trustworthy predictions. Therefore, it offers generally accepted ideas. However, the sample represents only a part of the discussed population, so it may be complicated to ensure total certainty in results. Moreover, the process of analysis is rather complicated, and not all students can manage it properly. In view of this, unreliable findings can be obtained.
