Locate 2 empirically based research articles from a journal l that is related to your research question/hypothesis. 

 List articles' citation using proper APA format (e.g., author(s) name, year of publication, title of article, title of journal/periodical, volume number, and page numbers):State your topic (chosen from the list). It must be original to this class. You may not use a topic from another class.Answer the questions below for each article. 1. Based on your research topic, complete a search through your institution's library for research articles related to your topic. Choose two articles to read in-depth that will help you begin to formulate a rationale for your research. Do not read just the abstract. When reading the articles, we recommend using the following chart and approach, adapted from Locke, Silverman, & Spirduso (2010), to read and look across articles:
2. Cite the Reference (APA format) What is the rationale for this study? (e.g., background and problem) What is the purpose of this study? What are the overarching research questions? What is the theory used to focus the study? What is the role of the researcher(s)? What is the research site and who are the participants? What are the methods (e.g., data source and modes of collection and analysis)? What are the findings? What are your takeaways? How does this study support or relate to your research project?

      Check the references at the end of the study. Are there any studies listed that might help you with your research? Provide a list for future reference (APA format)Do not simply answer the questions. You may use headings but do not state them in question form. This should be in paper format. Be thorough and detailed. Be sure and list the references that will help you when you begin gathering sources for your study proposal.
