Resource: The Case of Jerry                                                                                                                                 Jerry is a 53-year-old man scheduled to be released from prison in 2 weeks. He served a 20-year sentence for the rape of a 12-year-old girl. In his initial intake interview, Jerry admitted to being sexually attracted to young girls. He stated he had difficulty controlling his urges, which led to the crime he committed. Jerry has received counseling while in prison, but will still need to undergo treatment when he is released.

Determine Jerry's level of risk based on his assessment results.

2. Summarize the results of the Static 99 assessment for Jerry. No need to include the form in the paper. Discuss the scoring and which items you were unable to score due to lack of information. How might the additional information change his risk? Discuss the risk as indicated on page 2 of the Static 99 form
3. Describe appropriate treatment options based on the sex offender's risk level calculated on the Static 99. Explain the primary cognitive behavioral components associated with those treatment options. Provide research to support your response.
4. Describe the recidivism rates for sex offenders who have committed crimes similar to the sex offender chosen for the case of Jerry.
5. Describe the treatments that have helped reduce recidivism. Provide research to support your response.
6. Include  3 outside sources, not including the assignment information and the Static 99 form.
