Before completing this week's discussion, select one of the application cases below to review and discuss. Each application is located in your course text, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Science and AI:

• Analytics in Action 3.1, “Improving      Student Retention with Data-Driven Analytics” 
• Option 2: Ch. 6, “Predictive      Analytics II: Text, Web, and Social Media Analytics” 
• Analytics in Action 6.5, “Increasing the Efficiency of      Social Media Campaigns.” 

Write a 250- to 300-word response to the following: 

• Identify the case study you selected. Why was it of      interest to you? 
• Summarize how the researchers identified and measured      the data. 
• Describe the metrics used. Provide specific examples. 
• Based on the case study you selected, how do you see      the metrics you identified being used to optimize operations and quality      management? 

Include your own experience as well as 2 citations that align with or contradict your comments as sourced from peer-reviewed academic journals, industry publications, books, and/or other sources. Cite your sources using APA formatting. If you found information that contradicts your experience, explain why you agree or disagree with the information.
