This task is a Project.

· On a group basis. 3 People maximum per group.

· Subject: Financial Statement & Ratio Analysis Report.

· The team has to source the financial statements of a company for two years in a row and conduct a professional-like firm analysis. The company can be either a listed firm or a privately-held corporation (unlisted).

· The team must write a report on a Word document about the net income statement & the balance sheet of the firm. Also. a series of key ratios will be computed. Description of the financial situation of the firm and its results. Is the company in good financial condition? What do the ratios show? Write a thorough discussion on all the results.

· The team will also perform an oral presentation in class based on the information written in that Word document.

· Format: A Word document submitted in pdf format.

· Wordcount for the Word document: Minimum 2.000 words, references excluded.

· Cover, Table of Contents, References, and Appendix are excluded of the total wordcount.

· Font: Arial 12,5 pts.

· Text alignment: Justified.

· The in-text References and the Bibliography have to be in Harvard’s citation style.

· Wordcount for the PP presentation: It does not apply. The words just needed for writing a professional-like presentation based on the Word document.

· Submission: Deadline (it only applies to the Word document, not to the PP presentation): Week 6, November 12th Sunday, 23:59 h. The Word document will be submitted via Turnitin, whereas the PP presentation will be presented in class directly, the first class after the submission. No need for submitting it via Tunitin. All the members of the team will participate in the presentation, splitting the total presentation time into as many slots as team members. Teams with only one speaker during the presentation will not be allowed. All the team members will obtain the same grades for their presentation regardless of their more active or passive role during the making of the assignment at home.
