Self-reflection is an important part of the learning process. It helps you to retain information and to understand how you can apply what you’ve learned in new situations. At the beginning of this class, our first discussion board explored your experience with public speaking and presenting. Now, let’s reflect on what you’ve learned in the class and will continue to utilize in your future courses.

For Creative Presentation, our course outcomes are: 

• To apply creative strategies to communicate ideas effectively.
• To identify content that is appropriate for a defined audience.
• To understand various presentation methods.
• To demonstrate proper oral communication skills in delivering an effective presentation.

                                                       INSTRUCTIONS

Reflection is the act of turning our focus inward and studying our thoughts and actions, to improve ourselves. This reflection assignment is somewhat informal, but you are still expected to abide by college-level writing guidelines and to use proper grammar and mechanics.

                                                              STEP 1

In your assignment, please consider the below questions:

• Think about your expectations from the Creative Presentation course. Did this class meet your expectations? Explain your answer.
• What is your biggest takeaway from this course?
• How well have you met the requirements of the class? What are you especially proud of? What would you do differently if you could start the class over?
• How do you think the skills you learned in this class will help you in your remaining classes and in achieving your ultimate goals?
