You are the Human Resources manager at your company. You are in charge of creating this month’s HR newsletter about stress in the workplace. Your newsletter should be informative, creative, and publishable. You will choose a topic, conduct research, and create the newsletter. Topic Selection: The general topic for this newsletter is stress in the workplace, but this topic is too broad for one newsletter. You should do some preliminary research to select a more specific topic. Some ideas to consider are work hours, management issues, physical environment, employee conflict, and wages. It may help to first determine the company that you are working for. For example, there may be different issues at a hospital than a waste management company. Selecting a company may help you to identify a topic. Research Requirements: You must use at least 3 sources for this assignment. 

For this assignment, online research is sufficient. Your sources should be reputable sources of information, such as online magazines and news outlets (think about .org websites rather than personal blogs). 

Information Requirements: Your newsletter should contain at least 3 different sections related to your topic. This means you will need to look for at least 3 different “angles” to research about this topic. Think about a specific stress-related problem, signs of the problem, how to prevent the problem, etc. You will divide your newsletter into these sections. Formatting Requirements: • Your newsletter should be no longer than 2 pages • You should have a header that includes the company name and date. • Please use a fictional company, even if it is based on a real company. • Each section should have a title. • You are free to use a template, or you can create your own design.  • You must use design elements such as columns or borders to separate sections. • Choose a consistent font/look for your newsletter. • Submit as a Word document.
