The concept of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) is introduced in Unit I. Chose a WMSD, and describe this injury using proper anatomical and physiological nomenclature. For example, degenerative disc disease of the low back.

What structures are involved and what are the consequences of said WMSD?

What ergonomic issue caused this problem, and what specific changes could be made to the workstation to keep this WMSD from occurring?

Part II:

Consider your current body structure: Review Tables 3.1 to 3.8. Provide a detailed example of your findings in the paper.

Where does your body structure fit into the tables found in the textbook?

What percentage of the given population in the tables would you find yourself in?

How do height and weight affect how the worker fits into the workstation?
