It is commonly accepted that some people would concur that an individual’s efforts to be healthy and disease-free constitute a social determinant of health. It has a very agreeable sound. Also, this is a limited view of health. Raphael (2016) asserts, however, that it determines the degree to which a person has the physical, social, and personal resources required to meet his or her needs and adapt to the environment. To put it another way, social, economic, and political systems as well as public policy have a deeper impact on health than individual elements do. It also outlines the data in favor of the claim that income is one of the many social factors that affect health.

Mainly, Raphael (2016) addressed income, education, and job conditions as social determinants that influence health and contribute to the understanding of health inequality in light of this fact. Furthermore, Raphael argued for unequal access to education based on income inequality. In other words, Raphael explained that when it comes to education, low-income families will have less access to education, will not be able to get high-paying jobs, and will ultimately affect their health. In spite of his statements, I am convinced that education can improve health in various way that Raphael (2016) did not specify regardless of being confined to the framework of income for the following three reasons; education level, social media as well as civic education.
