Summarize the secondary research articles you found, explaining how they do or do not support the Faith & Main Consultants’ primary research findings. Explain why you believe the organization needs to conduct additional primary consumer market research.
Breast cancer is it estimated that 42,170 of women in the USA will die from breast cancer this would make it the second deadliest caner. (Vang et al., 2020) Women that live in poverty, do not have access to health care, have a less education is more likely to die from breast cancer. The organization needs to conduct additional consumer research. The first study showed that 71 % women between the ages of 50 and 74, had public insurance and had at least a high school education (Vang et al., 2020). Overall, 47% had received a screening mammogram within the past year (Vang et al., 2020). The study also showed that women with no health insurance were less likely to get their mammogram screening. This study also demonstrated that there is need to address financial barriers. An additional study showed that marital status, a household income of 50, 000 had higher odds of having an mammogram (Tran & Tran, 2019). The women that live in urban and suburban areas have had a recent mammogram as oppose to the women living in in rural areas (Tran & Tran, 2019).
State the type of additional information you believe is needed from such research.
To conduct more of an accurate study, we need to collect additional information. We will be needing the age of the woman this will determine if they are within the age and health history. We will also need income, material status, income, education, and race. We will also need to get the date of their last mammogram.
State the tools and techniques you would add, explaining why you recommend them, including why they would be the most efficient and effective.
A survey would be used to conduct the research this would allow us the determine the need for the breast care. When the women go into their appointments, they would fill out the screener for the breast care. In order to reach the uninsured, we would have them get a surgery done at the providers offices. A great tool to have is insurances they would be able to send invitations for mammograms. This would be a very efficient and effective way to reach the women within the communities.
Explain how you would incorporate consumer demographics and feedback on consumer health care preferences into the design for products, services, or branding.
The patient’s demographics would be very useful this would determine where the mobile screening bus would be and on what days. The mobile bus would be used for those women that might not have transportation to the clinic or hospital to get the mammography done. This would allow the woman the opportunity to get the breast care that they requested.
The studies show that breast cancer is the leading cause of death. We need to make breast care a priority with the women population. The lack of care can determine a the life of the woman the goal of mammograph is to detect the cancer In the early stages.
