These Art21 artist videos will give you some insight into that artist’s creative and technical processes, influences, and intellectual motivations for creating artwork. The videos are roughly one hour long but are in fact broken up into 15 minute sections – one section per artist. While it is important to note the nature of the work and the process involved, you are trying to arrive at a fuller understanding of the artistic problems that interest the artist and how those problems find visual expression.
