Good opening, adequate excursion. No prolapse, redundancy, or flail. 6. Grossly normal left atrial cavitary dimensions. 7. Grossly normal right-sided chamber dimensions and function. 8. Morphologic normal appearance of tricuspid valve. 9. No significant pericardial effusion, intracardiac mass, or thrombus detected. IMPRESSION: Limited 2-D echocardiographic study, no abnormal measurements. Grossly normal left ventricular cavitary dimensions, possibly mildly dilated. Grossly normal LV wall thickness. Systolic function (possibly mild LV systolic dysfunction). Preserved contractility, endomyocardial excursion and wall thickening. Ejection fraction 66%. Mild global hypokinesis in the presence of generally preserved systolic function with possible mild systolic dysfunction. Diastolic dysfunction with impairment of left ventricular relaxation, reduced compliance. Moderate to severe AI by colorflow Doppler. Pressure half-time 444 Msec.
