Use the Hospitality Consumer Preference Survey and the survey data in SPSS to complete the following questions.

 

1.            Conduct an Independent Samples T-Test using Gender (categories 1 and 2) as the independent variable and the importance of brand name for brewed coffee as the dependent variable (13Gender x 6eCoffBrand). (9 points)

 

a.            Is the Levene Test statistically significant? Explain why or why not.

 

b.            Give the T-Test statistic, df and p-value. 

 

c.             Is the T-Test significant or not?

 

d.            If the test is significant, explain how the variables act together by examining their means.
