Political science: leadership in public sector
You select which candidate’s campaign to represent as campaign manager. As the campaign manager in a position of leadership, how will you guide/win this race for your candidate?
NOTE: the campaign for state representative race.
A dynamic, state representative candidate is running in a politically light red district trending purple. (You select the political party to represent and views to espouse). The demographics in this largely urban-suburban district are changing and more young people are moving into the area. The candidate’s opponent is a twice elected incumbent who is socially conservative and strongly believes in government de-regulation, low taxes. The non-incumbent candidate’s campaign is not well-financed with 5 months to go before the Nov. election and operating during a slowing pandemic. The incumbent has the advantage of money, name recognition, but vulnerable. The incumbent won by only 250 votes in the previous election. The race is on.
