ILE Program Plan Background and Methods

Purpose

 

The purpose of this assignment is to develop the background and methods portion of your ILE Program Plan.

 

Course Outcomes

 

This assignment provides documentation of student ability to meet the following MPH620 course outcomes:

 

CO1:  Integrate public health theory, knowledge and skills in a community or public health practice setting.

 

CO2:  Demonstrate application and synthesis of MPH foundational and concentration competencies.   

 

CO3:  Identify appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods to assess a public health issue. 

 

CO4:  Develop practice-based public health deliverables that evidence public health knowledge, skills and integrative abilities.

 

CO5:  Critically assess and communicate public health research findings.  

 

Requirements

 

The ILE Program Plan Background and Methods will be graded on quality of self-assessment, use of citations, use of Standard English grammar, sentence structure, and overall organization based on the required components as summarized in the directions and grading criteria/rubric. This assignment is worth 150 points.

 

Create your manuscript using Microsoft Word, which is the required format for all Chamberlain College of Health Professions documents.

 

Follow the directions and grading criteria closely. Any questions about this paper may be posted under the Q & A Forum.

 

There is no requirement for the page length for this assignment.

The literature review should include a minimum of 8 scholarly articles, published within the past 10 years.

Program Overview

 

Describe the You must select at least one goal for your proposed program plan.

 

Describe at least 4 objectives of your proposed program. . You can consult your grant proposal assignment from your MPH507 course for more details on how to write SMART goals and objectives.

 

Description of the program

 

Implementation Setting- Describe the setting in which your program will be implemented

 

Methods    Description of the quantitative and/or qualitative methods that will be used and the benefits of using these methods (For example, will you use a survey, conduct interviews or focus groups, etc. to assess the effectiveness of your program?)

 

Description of your study sample? Who are you going to collect data from?
