Impact of Family Influence on Immigrant First Generation College Students Paper

Research Proposal

Hi this is the whole proposal paper. It has to be about 10 pages long and in APA format. Last time we did like three pages and now you can complete the paper. Let me know later if you need the previous paper or if you have it from last time. You need to have 8-10 references and it is shown in the prompt below. Please this time include the methodology and worldview. I will include two examples of an entire research but you just need to do the research proposal which should be about 10 pages long. I will also include the book and the format for the paper. You have to pick only one questions from what we did last time and the others can be bullet points. But now we only need ONE main question. If you have any questions let me know. Below is the prompt and everything is explained. Please read everything before starting.

Introduction of Research Topic or Problem

Literature Review (including specific research question/hypotheses for quantitative study or issue to be explored for qualitative study)

Methods Section (including the research design/approach, sampling frame, measures or interview questions, data analysis approach, and dissemination plan)

Introduction(1-2 pages)

Clearly identify the subject of your proposal. Introduce your study and justify your program of research. Offer the context or background to the study. The objective of this section is to offer a clear rationale for why the topic merits exploration in a sustained and systematic manner. Make certain to define relevant terms as necessary.

Literature Review (3-4 pages)

Present a review of the literature and provide arguments for the exploration of research questions by critically synthesizing what has been done to provide insight into the topic and effectively establishing the gap in the literature. Conclude this section by presenting your research questions along with a rationale for choosing each question to study.

Methodology (4 pages)

Present your proposed methodology, explain why it is an appropriate choice given your goals, objectives, and questions, and describe the decisions you would make in the areas of: Data Generation and Collection, Data Preparation and Analysis, Findings Presentation, Quality Control, Researcher Preparation, and Ethics and Reflexivity.

References

8-10 references, at least 4 with international perspective or influence. Include APA compliant citations for all references mentioned in the paper.

Accuracy and Thoroughness

Does the paper address all the prompts (content areas)?

Does it include references and connections to ideas in the Creswell book (ie. Does it follow the format outlined by Creswell?) and other course readings?

Does it show comprehension of the key concepts of selected texts (course readings and other references)?

Structure

Are paragraphs and sentences logical units of thought?

Are statements clear and easy to understand?

Are spelling, grammar and diction correct?

Do you include a bibliography?

Do you cite specific examples in text?
