Create a personally appropriate plan for nutrition

The purpose of this assignment is to assess and create a personally appropriate plan for nutrition, physical activity, sleep and mental wellbeing. This assignment is for you! We are here to assess based on the rubric and will not make judgments about your current health habits from what you write.

This includes:

  1. Journaling and reflecting on your current nutrition, physical activity & sedentary patterns, sleep, AND mental wellbeing behavior (for TWO consecutive days),
  2. Assess your stages of change based on the Transtheoretical Model (TTM), and
  3. Practicing goal setting techniques that are applicable to you as an individual while identifying barriers and strategies to overcome them.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If any part of this assignment is triggering for you and you need an accommodation/alternative for your assignment, please reach out to your instructor or the acting HHS Program Director, Dan Roberson [email protected] to come up with an adequate plan. This plan needs to be set up the Thursday BEFORE the assignment is due.

Food Log Important note: If it is unhealthful to your health and wellbeing for you to journal your food intake, you can complete the Mindful Eating Alternative assignment for Bewell (docx)
