You, my friend, are well on your way to achieving your dreams because you’ve learned how to wield the mighty power of persuasion to get your ideas out there and get what you want!

In this course, you’ve boosted your communication, problem-solving, and innovation skills by mastering persuasive appeals, seeking out different perspectives, and polishing your words to create a final proposal that leads the pack. You’ve discovered how to evaluate sources, draw conclusions, adapt your ideas, and influence others through your writing. You’ve also explored how powerful writing can help you reach your personal and professional goals!

You have also learned how to use the Capella library to find research to support your persuasive ideas. You have used the stages of writing to create a persuasive proposal, and you have used persuasion to create a persuasive argument.

Here is your chance to put the finishing touches on examining what we hope has been a valuable experience—examining yourself as the type of writer who produces the kind of work demanded in the world of professions and academia.

Reflect on how far you’ve come and how you can apply the skills you’ve learned throughout this course and beyond.

Assess your strengths as a writer, as you understand them, having completed the course. Think back on the course and your journey through the writing process and assess what you have learned along the way. In the provided worksheet, answer the following questions:

Length: Fill-in each blank space in the tables with a small paragraph of 2–3 sentences. Do not list or bullet-point your answers.
