As a closing assignment for the course and drawing on the team paper you submitted in Week 7, please prepare to submit a brief (1,500-2,000 word) Applied Learning paper, this time focusing on the course lessons you have learned, the techniques you have mastered or seek to master, and how this knowledge will enhance your life, business, and career. Reflections should also be used to relate the concepts and ideas we have studied/discussed in the virtual classroom to enhance learning outcomes and adds value to professional development. Comment on problems or successes encountered, deficiencies of style in management and/or leadership, or other ideas related to The “Topics for the Week”. This is your opportunity to coalesce the ideas you have studied into an overall view of the topic for that week. It is not enough to list what you have studied or what you did. You should be able to demonstrate that you have thought through the issues

and can propose solutions in keeping with the discussions in the forums and the readings. These will be words in APA format. Support this paper with a short 4-5 slide MS PowerPoint presentation. This assignment is due by Day 4 and earns 150 points.

Grading Rubric for the Learning and Application Course Reflections Assignment:

Compliance with Assignment Directions: The paper contains important strategic elements prescribed in the assignment directions. Include a Table of Contents. 10 points

Comprehension: The paper does reflect a comprehensive distinctive level of understanding of relevant theory. Keep in mind that the Goal(s), the desired end result, should always precede Objectives (the means to achieving the desired end result). 30 points

Organization: The structure of the paper is very clear, logical, and easy to follow. Headings or bullets that identify/describe key strategic issues were very helpful. This type of organization provides a very clear, succinct, and focused examination of issues that the company may face. It would be concise and provide an appropriate analysis that is complete, logical, detailed, and articulated in context. 10 points

Reflection: The reflective evaluations do address a few of the questions prescribed in the assignment directions. The assignments did request specifically what course lessons did you learn as well as the techniques you have mastered or seek (desire) to master and how this knowledge will enhance your life, business, and career. Keep in mind the importance of a SWOT Analysis and PEST or PESTEL Analysis as well as a fact that there are those that consider a Transnational company to be a combination of both the Global and Multinational in the sense that in some markets the transnational company offers standardized (associated with global) products and differentiated (associated with multinational) products in other markets in which the company serves. Figures and tables are optional. PowerPoints were exceptionally well presented and did add more value to the presentation 40 points

Mechanics: The paper follows appropriate APA style guides fully with respect to your critical analysis, etc. A complete cover page did include the title of the assignment, the course number/name, your name, instructor name, and date.10 points
