The only true culturally adapted persons are those members of the culture or subcultures. True adaptation is

growing up using actual customs, traditions, language nuances, and habits of a family, which tend to influence

workplace and management skills. With this premise being true, the obvious choice for an in-country

organizational representative is a native of the culture and, in some cases, a subculture. The more meaningful

decision that an intercultural manager may make will be how to use experienced cultural personnel (i.e., who

should be placed in which position). Consider the general positions to help with your understanding of how

culture and subcultures affect intercultural manager selections:

• general manager;

• assistant general manager, chief of staff, or executive assistant;

• marketing manager or management analyst;

• human resources manager;

• sales manager;

• supply chain manager; and

• financial analyst, accountant, bookkeeper, paymaster, or economist.

Instructions:

My home country is USA and my chosen Country is China.

Describe at least two management positions that will require training for in-country positions. The description must include the identification of cultural, linguistics and specialized skills needed for the positions. Culturally, describe differences, such as management styles between the workforce in the home country and in your chosen country.

Support your conclusions by using current and viable sources to support the analysis of the source material and arguments for all possible actions.

Adhere to APA Style (7th ed.) when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.

Using the material presented in Section II, analyze and argue all possible sides of the possible courtesies, behaviors, and customs as you feel are necessary. Focus on trying to make good cases for choosing different solutions.
