From his days as a young shepherd boy to becoming the King of Israel, David serves as a model of spiritual resilience. David’s use of writing poetry and playing the harp became a source of spiritual resilience. This journal entry is about David’s Resilience in the Psalms. Many of David’s psalms are connected to major events in his life. In a 1 to 2-page journal entry, choose 3 of David’s psalms and explain how they inspire and strengthen you. One of the 3 psalms should be a hymn or contemporary worship song that was based on a psalm of David.
