It is a beautiful image of how God cares for us. In Matthew 6:25-34 Jesus tells us not to worry. As he takes care of the birds, he will also take care of us. In John 16:33 Jesus told us that we can have peace knowing that He has overcome the world. The world and our daily lives may be a place of uncertainly, but the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. When we can’t have peace in our circumstances, we can have peace in our Lord. It is in the certainty of His character that we can live without fear.
