The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is Americas largest payer and majority of the population rely in the benefits furnished through CMS. The government should lead efforts to modernize health care as Americas largest payer through modernized technology. It will consist of adopting cloud computing, modernized patient medical information with security and backup, and data management. Some more ways would be optimize public resources, modernize government health care programs, build upon the foundation of employer-based health coverage, employ progressive approaches to health care benefits, and modernize the way care is delivered to improve affordability and quality. Modernizing healthcare would improve quality, safety, and save money to benefit families and health care providers/organizations. Implementing modernization in health care benefits the communities and health care organizations through successful planning, managing, and financing the necessities each individual needs. Lastly, with America being the largest payer in health care, providing funds to families and health care organizations/providers would pave a way to being insured and having health care coverage.
